Colombian artist, founder and co-director of the Cocuyo Artistic Residency. He completed a master's degree in visual arts at the 'School of Communications and Arts' of the University of Sao Paulo (ECA-USP). The identification between the media and authoritarian regimes, as well as the expressive resumption of both urban and rural spaces are themes of the practice of Carlos Guzmán who works with urban intervention, sound, performance, photography and video. His projects have been part of exhibitions such as 'La Vitrina' – Lugar a Dudas (2011), the 49th and 52nd Cartagena International Film Festival, The Public Domain - Delfina Foundation (2014) and 'New Names' at The Art Museum of Colombia's central bank (2018) among others.
