An artist, she holds master’s and doctorate degrees from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, where she studied the influence of new technologies in contemporary art processes. She works with a broad range of media and techniques that run the gamut from embroidery, analog and digital circuits and creative programming to interactive installations and audio performances. In her artistic practice, she takes an interest in the juxtaposition of traditional handicraft and sci-fi ideas, and in the use of the human body as a control interface. Her works have been shown at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria (2014); the Electropixel in Nantes, France (2013); the Piksel in Bergen, Norway (2013 and 2012); the Maker Faire in Rome, Italy (2013); the Amber Festival in Istanbul, Turkey (2012); and other festivals and institutions.
