Visual artist trained by the CCA – Center of Contemporary Art – Tbilisi. He works with digital cinematography, photography and site-specific installation, through which he attempts to trace the human impact on nature and the relationship between living creatures – animals and plants. Uncultivated geographies inspire the artist to create new forms of post-human narrative, which he achieves by presenting mysterious characters and inviting viewers to a subjective perspective between the real and the imaginary, with a different sense of displacement and physical existence. He held solo shows at the New Museum, New York, USA (2021); and Public Space, Georgia (2020); he participated in the 59th Venice Biennale (2022); and in group shows at the National Museum, Tbilisi, Georgia (2022); and Lemoyne Project, Zurich, Switzerland (2021), among others. He lives in Tbilisi.
