Collective of artists from the Indulkana Indigenous community in Central Australia. Founded in the early 1980s by the artists and filmmakers Alec Baker and Sadie Singer, it fosters today the artistic careers of its more than 40 members, providing access to artistic and professional development. Working primarily in painting, the collective also encompasses projects that make use of experimental materials and processes, as well as a multimedia program of videos and films that promote contemporary Indigenous storytelling and intergenerational learning. Its works have been shown at the Michael Reid Gallery, Sydney, Australia (2023); at the Bangkok Art Biennale, Thailand (2022); and at the Gropius Bau, Berlin, Germany (2022).
