Visual artist with a master's degree in photography from the Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallinn, with a postgraduate degree from the Higher Institute for Fine Arts (HISK), Brussels. His installations, made from photographs and videos, create immersive environments that have fear as one of their main topics. The works also address economic transformations in the neoliberal era and their consequences in people's lives, imagination and belief systems. He has received awards such as the Estonian Artist Laureate Salary (2020); presented recent solo shows at the (AV17) Gallery, Vilnius, Lithuania (2022); Tartu Art House, Estonia (2020); and took part in group shows at the Hunt Museum, Limerick, Ireland (2022); and at Park Sonsbeek, Arnhem, Netherlands (2021). He lives between Ghent and Tallinn.
