Video artist, professor and researcher. In 1993, he completed a video production course at New York University. Since 1986, he has worked as director and producer of video art, documentaries, community TV, films, commercials, institutional movies and TV series. He is a teacher at São Paulo University, has a master’s degree in Communication and Semiotics and is currently pursuing his doctorate in the same field. He is also a researcher at the Cinema Studies Center and the Oriental Studies Center. His most prominent works include "Anatawa Ikaga Desuka/How Are You?/Como Vai?" (2002), "Reflexo Solar/Corpo Presente" (Sun Reflection/Present Body, 2001), "Videohaiku" (1993-1999 - a video haiku series), "Acesso/Access/Akusesu" (1993) and "Copan Thriller" (1988/1996).
