Fine artist, graphic designer, poet and musician. Holds a doctoral degree in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and a postdoctorate degree from Université Paris VIII Laboratoire de Paragraphe, completed in 2009 under the tutelage of professor Phillipe Bootz. He is the author of the books O que é Design; Os Signos do Design and Interpoesia: poesia hipermídia interativa, the latter of which is a pioneering CD in Brazilian interactive hypermedia poetry; Looppoesia: a escritura da mesmice featured in the French publication ALIRE 12; DVD Quando Assim Termina O Nunca video poetry; and the 14-track sound poetry CD Inaldível Silábios, released in 2008, containing material from a show held in 2004 at the Centre Georges Pompidou. He is a research professor at the stricto sensu postgraduate program of Education, Art and History of Culture, and a collaborator with the postgraduate program of Language at Mackenzie Presbyterian University. He is a member of the group Transitoire Observable and of the board at the E-Poetry digital poetry festival (2001-2009), Open Port Chicago Theater Image and Sound Performance 2007. He has featured in the 9th Bienal Internnacional de Poesie in 2007, and in the 2008 Amanda Berenguer International Experimental Poetry Meeting. He is a member of the scientific council at Université Paris VIII Laboratoire de Paragraphe.
