Semi Ryu is an instructor of the Visual Communication and Design Department in the Virgina Commonweath University (USA) who has a degree in Ecology in the Yonsei University (Korea). After a period involved with graphic design and digital art, went to the Korean National University of Arts to study Cinema and Multimedia. In parallel, is a musician. Has a master’s degree from the Art School in the Carnegie Mellon University (USA), and began to work with computerized animation in 3-D. Her work has already participated in festivals in France, United Kingdom, Canada and Japan, besides having been awarded in Germany, Italy and Korea.
