Kodiak Bachine is a pioneer of Brazilian electronic music and founder member of Agentss, the country’s first electronic band (1980–1983). The musician calls the music video Eletricidade (Electricity), made by director and photographer Alfredo Nagib, a documentary about his life. Indeed, in the video Bachine plays himself—a man from the future who, although he has learnt to control machines with his mind, has also become dependent on them. The futuristic silver outfit seen in the video was worn by Kodiak for his live performances: two pedals sewn into the costume at chest level ran on batteries and activated special effects that altered his voice.
