The work approaches the relations between the artifact and the human gesture through the perspectives of the philosopher Vilém Flusser and the filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein as expressed in the question: In what respects does man invent and relate to his tools, and to what degree do these creations swallow their creator? How are technical breakthroughs made and to what extent do they determine human destiny?
