Couched within a dramaturgical suggestion redolent of the cinema of David Lynch, three characters talk about their experiences as they walk along a road. The installation provides a multifaceted narrative perspective situated within Mayorga’s field of research, which looks to transpose pop culture’s abundance of metaphors for death and morbidity into art. This work approaches space and time in a similar manner to the way cubism and futurism approached objects.
