Based on his personal perceptions of Berlin, New York, and Budapest, and using nine sequential photo works he made between 1975 and 2010 as his sole material, the artist creates a series of fictional cities—each with their own name, myths, and traumas. The project aims to dive beneath conventional landmarks, as well as the marks left by human memories, desires, and tragedies on the urban tissue, to uncover invisible, unofficial narratives.
