Three characters seated at a table share the contents of some Tupperware into plastic bags. The black band that hides their faces reinforces the sensation that something illegal is going on, something our Western worldview would reject. In off, we hear randomly dissected and reassembled excerpts from René Descartes’ Metaphysical Meditations (1641). The work proposes questions that contemplate the contemporary stereotypes Creole culture has to contend with in the face of historically dominant narratives.
