Filmmaker Flavia Moraes and playwright Flavio de Souza travel to New York to produce a series about the city’s alternative cultural scene as an assignment for a Brazilian company. The project goes awry, and the two edit the precious material they obtained into this video: interviews with Keith Haring, John Lurie, Arto Lindsay and William Dafoe, plus a sequence in which Fred Schneider, the lead singer of the band B52´s, reads his poems in Washington Square.
