The Festival’s third meeting discussed the potentialities of Brazil’s video market, focusing on home video and on how video productions could reach video clubs, considering that the Concine (National Film Council) only granted the national label to cinema productions. Independent video makers stressed the need to protect the national industry from uneven competition.
