A fusion of video and performance languages is featured in Poscatidevenum - Um Espetáculo de Música e Imagem, presented in the 10th edition of the Festival. Video and preformance have conversed since the mid-1970s, when both first emerged. Here, the visual poetics of Eder Santos meets the experimentalism of percussionist Paulo Santos and the group Uakti. In this large multimedia installation, music, dance and video are edited live. The idea for the operetta originated from an experience Paulo Santos had during a subway trip along California's San Francisco Bay; the operetta comprises one act and four movements, which correspond to four subway stations.
