The performance Bestiário masculino-feminino, by the poet Waly Salomão, was conceived in association with the installation CineSegredo, by the video artist Carlos Nader. At the entrance to the installation, the spectator comes upon a poster asking each one to place a secret in the box. Once inside, they arrive at a vast empty space where a white light goes on an off in sync with the sound of a basketball bouncing in morse code, which in turn conveys a secret. As the spectator moves forward in the court, one of the projections reveals itself as the side of a large black box where Salomão’s performance takes place. Each audience member receives an animal mask before they enter the venue, where the poet recites some of his texts while masked women dance to the sound of live electronic music, and the cackle of a hundred hens.
