A native of Costa Rica filming tourists visiting European indigenous people, making a formal ethnographic document on the tourism phenomenon. The artist, whose work featured in the Southern Panoramas show, discusses this unusual situation. He recounts what it was like to travel with people for eight days on a boat to northern Norway, so they could spend 15 to 20 minutos in the tundra where a Sami community, a native Scandinavian people, lives. He also talks about his own experience as a tourist in his first trip to the city of cidade São Paulo, and draws a parallel between the heavy tourist flows around the world today and the lives of artists involved in residency networks, an increasingly widespread phenomenon within the art world.
