In Abdul Halik Azeez's work, memory is at the same time a space for invention, repression and the reformulation of individual and social history.

The Sri Lankan artist creates personal and collective memories by manipulating fragments of images, videos and stories from his family archive and the mass media, using collage and pixelization techniques.
