A minimalist volcano erupts. A white cone, with a drop of paint dripping onto a school desk. The action is broadcast live on YouTube and a self-analysis takes over the chat.
Eduardo Montelli's work is the result of the anguish of the Covid-19 pandemic. The tragic atmosphere of the collective events reverberates the impressions of his childhood memories. The fractured time gradually becomes "live", articulating text and image in a narrative that reveals, from an individual perspective, reflections on traumas and recurring social, political and cultural issues in contemporary times.
