If you were asked to show your inner world in a work of art, what would you create?
Haitian artist Maksaens Denis decided to work from his dreams. In "Mes rêves" [My dreams], exhibited at the 22nd Biennial Sesc_Videobrasil, he takes us into the dreamlike.
In the video, fantasy images are interspersed with scenes of violence and protests in the streets of Port-au-Prince.
Denis won the Instituto Sacatar Residency Award at this biennial.
