Videobrasil Online
In over three decades of research and curated selections, Associação Cultural Videobrasil has amassed a collection of artworks and audiovisual documents that provides the basis for the VB Online initiative, which aims to increase and facilitate access to contemporary art productions in the Global South. Each month, a new program will revisit and explore the relations between different artworks, while also presenting artist profiles and new curatorial frameworks along three different fronts: Artists, a selection of works which best represent the artistic trajectory of featured artists; Curatorships, a selection of works by guest curators; and Première, which features first screenings of an array of pieces, from artworks to documentaries on contemporary art.
