Ricardo Nauemberg, the video maker responsible for several opening vignettes to TV Globo’s soap operas, created a special edition of the Multimídia series for Globo’s Fantástico show.

Music videos? Modern ballet on video? Video-poetry? Multimedia is multimedia.

Nauemberg created a sort of Babel Tower of video languages, using from super-sized scale models to videographs, from laser to cigarette ash effects. Previously inanimate objects begin performing choreographies.

A case in point is Do Outro Lado da Rua (On the Other Side of the Street), a futuristic Fred Astaire-inspired musical where a pair of small shoes suddenly start dancing by themselves.
