She is a filmmaker trained in the workshops of the NGO Vídeo nas Aldeias. She co-directed with Ariel Ortega the award-winning Bicicletas de Nhanderu [Bicycles of Nhanderu] (2011), Mbya-Mirim (2013) and Desterro Guarani [Guarani Exile] (2011), and, with Vincent Carelli and Ernesto de Carvalho, Tava: A casa de pedra [Tava: The Stone House] (2012). She is interested in issues related to women’s place, both among her people and in other societies. She took part in several exhibits and festivals in Brazil and worldwide, such as the American Native Film Festival, forumdoc.bh, Lugar do Real, Cine Fronteira, FINCAR, among others.
