From 1970 to 1972, Arthur Ginsberg and Video Free America recorded the private life of Carel Row, a porn actress and filmmaker, and her husband Ferd Eggan, a bisexual junkie. The video vérité camera captures their desires and frustrations and also their responses to the videotaping exercise. The project foregrounds the roles played by media in contemporary life.
