The piece is part of the Jardim de Cronópio (2008) series, made using plastic, portable or disposable cameras. In the video, the artist creates a sequence of eight different vantage points in one single snapshot, captured using a Lomo Oktomakt eight-lens camera. The notion of garden as nature organized by human intelligence is put in check through the pulsation of different light sources in each of the snapshots. These elements transmute the habitual picturesque quality of this type of landscape into restlessness, denouncing the existence of a realm behind the gaze that builds it.
