In early eghties, the videonarcissism of the seventies gave place to an image configuration and to concrete contents. This development was accelerated by using a language of independent images, and the creation of a specific sound-image composition. A retrospective view over the video production of the last decade shows works of content related to social themes of this period and to the environmental aspects - among them there are videos of great value which opened singular perspectives concerning the nature and technology. Global and individual catastrophes also found in the videoart an artistic transposition.
