The Tulse Luper Suitcases reconstructs the life of Tulse Luper, a professional writer and project-maker, caught up in a life of prisons. He was born in 1911 in Newport, and presumably last heard of in 1989.
His life is reconstructed from the evidence of ninety-two suitcases found around the world (ninety-two being the atomic number of the element Uranium).
This multimedia work in progress includes an installation displaying the suitcases, three feature films, and a VJ performance (all these offshoots are part of the 16th Videobrasil programme), in addition to an interactive on-line game (www.tulseluperjourney.com).
