The video installation intersperses seemingly random and unrelated images that compose a mosaic in continuous construction. The title alludes to the tradition of the Greek Oracle as source of wisdom and prophecy, capable of providing answers and visions of the future, even though enigmatically, through the combination of present elements. In this piece, which was originally an installation containing the same duplicated video, the prognosis of future may be built or even transformed into a fictional narrative by the viewer himself, appropriating the captured everyday situations – at times ordinary, at times poetic –entwined in video by an intermittent soundtrack. The image’s double or mirroring contributes to a dramatic exaggeration that simultaneously reveals the helplessness of the common man in view of the environment to which he is used to.
