The title fuses the Portuguese words for cell, brush and brushstroke. Paulo Santos’s music and Sandra Penna’s poems interact with pre-recorded or live images. The performance revolves around five moments of human physical and emotional development: the cell, childhood, adolescence, maturity and oldness. The work was commissioned by Associação Cultural Videobrasil.
