A group of women use colored thread to embroider a piece of cloth of the kind used in morgues. As they work, the women tell their own personal stories. Together, they produce an artwork charged with meaning, highlighting the craft and collective effort, here executed on material traces of violence. After the embroidering, the video recording of the action will be on display at the exhibition site alongside the shroud.
