Series of photographs made since 2014 for the social networks, Aceita? features around 800 images in which Patrício extends the palm of his left hand to offer objects found in the streets of São Paulo, words, and gestures related to the daily situations he experiences in the city. The choice to portray his hand and the offering gesture (key for the candomblé) is a criticism to the heritage of racism and slavery, which reduces the role of the black population to that of mere manpower. With a strong symbolic and social charge, as they reclaim and give back to the circulation that which has been considered by society to be disposable, the photo performances reflect on the excluding character of urban spaces and the art scene.
