The show’s curator and guest critic Octavio Zaya speak with the authors of the pieces Projeto Pacífico (Andrade), Lucharemos Hasta Anular la Ley (Diaz Morales), and O sangue da terra (Michiles). The debate will address the artworks’ connections with historical memory, and their political and social aspects; the branches that combine documentary and video art, producing reality-fiction hybrids; and the ways in which historical research influences the creation of art and curating practices.
