For the first time in its history, the Festival featured the groundbreaking Videojornal initiative, a kind of video bulletin documenting the event’s daily activities. The initiative was the result of a partnership with TV Gazeta.
For the first version of Videojornal, a mini-studio was set up with Super VHS equipment feeding image into a closed-circuit TV system with 60 monitors.
