Taking the collective’s actions beyond the physical space of the 21st Biennial Sesc_Videobrasil, this open class introduces the frequenters of Largo do Arouche, many of them transvestites and transsexuals, to such concepts as social technologies and resistance. A traditional haunt of the LGBTQI+ community in downtown São Paulo, Arouche Square has been undergoing an aggressive process of gentrification, with real-estate and other developments threatening to remodel its hangouts and gathering spots.
