Caribbean festival selects multimedia works
New Media 2013, an ARC Magazine and trinidad+tobago film festival project, are calling for artists from the Caribbean and its diaspora, or artists who address these spaces in their work, working in video art, sound art, interactive installation and experimental film.
New Media 2012 showcased the works of 49 artists, and its predecessor 10 artists’ works. This year's edition, due from September 23 to 28 at Medulla Art Gallery (Trinidad and Tobago), will grant a juried prize of TT$5,000 for best film or best video. The deadline for all submissions is May 31. More info at ARC Magazine's website.
