Geopoetics at a design biennial
Brazilian duo Celso Longo and Daniel Trench was selected to this year's Brazilian Graphic Design Biennial, after carrying out Isaac Julien: Geopoetics' visual identity. The project includes all graphic material designed for the show that occupied Sesc Pompeia from 2012 September to December, including an extensive homonymous publication that reinforced and magnified the exhibit's curatorship with original essays and an interview with the artist. The work will be shown at Memorial da América Latina (São Paulo), open for public visitation from June 14.
In its 10th edition, the Brazilian Graphic Design Biennial is the most traditional event in its segment, with more than 2.000 works brought to view since 1992. This year, after a 4-year hiatus since its last edition, 444 selected projects will be shown, including a selection of 70 featured works. Learn more on the Biennial website.
