What is the relationship between collecting and violence?

The work of Seba Calfuqueo, an artist of Mapuche indigenous origin, explores this issue. Exhibited at the Biennial Sesc_Videobrasil, the video features different visual and narrative records that invite us to think about a critical history of collecting and its relationship with the Mapuche world. This movement begins when the artist subverts the museum's photographic record: the pieces are impregnated with a blue that maintains and underlines their form, but expands it into different fields of meaning.
